A Tooth(teeth) extraction is the process of removing a tooth from its socket in the bone. If a tooth (teeth) has been broken or damaged by decay or accidents your dentist will try to fix it with a dental filling, dental crown, dental bridge or other dental treatment. Sometimes, when there’s too much damage for the tooth due to decay or accidents to be repaired the tooth needs to be extracted.

There are two types of extractions: Simple Extraction and a Surgical Extraction. At St Peters Square Dental Surgery we perform both types of tooth extraction.
